On Friday, May 4^th, the Wyoming Valley West Middle School along with Band Director Mrs. Megan Schneider hosted Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 9 Band Fest 2018.  Nearly 300 band students were selected to participate, representing more than 50 schools from 29 regional school districts. These students spent the day rehearsing together for an evening concert, which featured a 5^th and 6^th Grade Band and a 7^th and 8^th Grade Band.
